1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg, beaten
2 cups marinara sauce
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
-
Prepare the Dish: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
-
Assemble the Roll-Ups: Lay the cooked lasagna noodles flat. Spread about 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture on each noodle, then add 2 tablespoons of crumbled sausage on top.
-
Roll and Bake: Carefully roll each noodle and place them seam-side down in the baking dish. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
-
Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
-
Cool and Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
