Description

These Adorable Carrot Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a fun, easy-to-make treat that will brighten up any celebration, especially Easter! With a combination of juicy strawberries and smooth chocolate, shaped like carrots, they are a crowd-pleasing, festive snack everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 1 (12 oz.) bag of orange chocolate melts (Wilton or preferred brand)
  • Wax paper
  • Candy squeeze tube (or a zip-tight bag with a small snip in the corner)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Strawberries: Gently rinse and dry the strawberries with a paper towel to ensure no moisture remains.
  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the orange chocolate melts according to package instructions until smooth and creamy.
  • Dip the Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the green leaves and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering the strawberry completely. Let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Shape the Carrot: Place the dipped strawberries on wax paper. Once the chocolate has set slightly, use a candy squeeze tube (or a zip-tight bag) to pipe a green “carrot top” design on each strawberry.
  • Let Them Set: Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes.

Notes

  • Chocolate Alternatives: You can use different colored melts like white, pink, or pastel shades for variety.
  • Storage Tip: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days for the best freshness.
  • Decoration Ideas: Add sprinkles, or drizzle white or dark chocolate over the tops for extra flair.
