Description

Air Fryer Apples are a quick, healthy snack that combines the sweetness of cinnamon and apples with a delightful crispy-soft texture. Ready in just 15 minutes, this easy air fryer recipe is perfect for a snack, breakfast topping, or healthy dessert. Customize with your favorite spices or sweeteners for a versatile treat everyone will love!

Ingredients

2 large apples (such as Braeburn, Granny Smith, or Honeycrisp)

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp pure maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

2 tsp oil or butter (optional for richness)

Instructions

  • Grease the air fryer tray or line it with air fryer liners. Peel the apples if desired, then chop them into small squares or sticks.

  • Toss the chopped apples in a bowl with cinnamon, sweetener, and optional melted butter or oil.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

  • Arrange the apples in a single layer on the air fryer tray. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook in two batches.

  • Air fry for 7 minutes, then shake the apples to ensure even cooking.

  • Cook for another 8 minutes or until the apples are crispy and caramelized.

Notes

You can swap maple syrup for other sweeteners such as brown sugar, honey, or a sugar-free option like stevia.

Add a pinch of nutmeg, ginger, or other fall spices for more depth of flavor.

Serve with ice cream, oatmeal, or pancakes for a delicious treat.
