Description

Apple Bundt Cake is a moist and flavorful dessert packed with fresh apples and warm spices, perfect for celebrations or cozy days. Its tender crumb and optional nuts create a delightful texture and taste.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

½ cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon salt

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups peeled, cored, and chopped apples (mix of sweet and tart preferred)

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Fold in chopped apples and nuts (if using) evenly.
  7. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool cake in pan for 10–15 minutes before inverting onto wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Optional: Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.

Notes

Substitute apples with pears or other favorite fruits.

Add raisins or dried cranberries for extra sweetness and texture.

Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before baking for a crunchy crust.

Use maple syrup in the glaze for richer flavor.

Swap nuts for toasted almonds or pecans.

Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate up to 5 days.

Warm slices gently before serving for a freshly baked taste.

Freeze wrapped tightly for up to 2 months; thaw at room temperature before serving.
