Description

This Berry Tiramisu Trifle is a fresh and creamy twist on the classic tiramisu! Layers of fluffy mascarpone cream, juicy macerated berries, and soft ladyfingers come together in this light and elegant dessert. Ingredients

For the Cream Layer:

  • 8 oz (225g) mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Berry Layer:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Ladyfingers:

  • 1215 ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • ½ cup orange juice or berry juice

Instructions

1. Prepare the Berries

  • In a bowl, toss strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.

2. Make the Mascarpone Cream

  • In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.

3. Assemble the Trifle

  • Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the orange juice or berry juice and layer them at the bottom of a trifle dish or serving glasses.
  • Spread a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  • Add a generous layer of the macerated berries.
  • Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, finishing with cream and a berry topping.

4. Chill and Serve

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!
