Description

Caramel Brownie Cheesecake is the ultimate dessert indulgence, combining the rich, fudgy texture of a brownie with the creamy tang of cheesecake, all swirled together with luscious caramel sauce. This decadent dessert is easy to make and will steal the show at any gathering with its beautiful presentation and irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

1 package brownie mix (or homemade brownie batter)

For the Cheesecake Layer:

24 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

For the Garnish:

Whipped cream

Chocolate shavings

Instructions

  • Prepare the Brownie Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, then pour it into the pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes and allow it to cool completely.

  • Make the Cheesecake Layer: Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C). In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream. Mix until fully combined.

  • Add Caramel: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cheesecake mixture and gently swirl for a marbled effect.

  • Assemble and Bake: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven, leave the door ajar, and cool for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  • Garnish and Serve: Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and extra caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Chocolate Ganache: For an extra indulgent touch, top with a rich chocolate ganache instead of whipped cream.

Nuts: Add chopped pecans or walnuts between the brownie and cheesecake layers for added texture.

Crust Alternatives: Use a graham cracker or Oreo cookie crust instead of the brownie base if preferred.
