Ingredients
For the Bars:
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups cherry pie filling
For the Glaze:
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon almond extract
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 teaspoons milk
Instructions

Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Cream: Beat together butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix well until smooth.

Combine: In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.

Assemble: Spread 3 cups of batter evenly in the pan, then top with cherry pie filling. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top.

Notes
