Description

This Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza made with crescent rolls is a quick and delicious dessert featuring a buttery dough, sweet cinnamon-sugar coating, and a creamy glaze.

Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough (or crescent sheet if available)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ cup granulated sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar

23 tbsp milk (adjust for desired consistency)

½ tsp vanilla extract

Optional Toppings: Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds), Sprinkles, Shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet, and stretch or roll it slightly to form an even circle or rectangle.
  3. Add Butter and Cinnamon-Sugar: Brush melted butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
  4. Cut into Slices: Cut the dough into 8-12 wedges (like pizza) or squares. Optionally, twist each slice for a swirled effect before arranging them back in shape.
  5. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Make the Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust milk for desired consistency.
  7. Glaze and Decorate: Let the pizza cool for 2-3 minutes, then drizzle the glaze over the top. Add optional toppings while the glaze is still wet.
  8. Serve: Slice and serve warm for a delicious, gooey dessert!

Notes

Get creative with toppings like chocolate chips or mini marshmallows.

Bake longer for a gooey center or slightly crispier texture.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days.

Reheat in the microwave or oven for that fresh, melt-in-your-mouth feel.
