Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a luxurious, restaurant-quality dish that features broiled lobster meat draped in a rich, garlicky cream sauce. Perfect for special occasions or an elevated weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

4 lobster tails (46 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley

Paprika, for light seasoning

Instructions

  1. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of each lobster shell. Gently lift the meat over the shell, keeping it attached at the base. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
  2. Preheat your oven’s broiler. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking tray. Broil for 5–6 minutes, or until the meat turns opaque and slightly golden.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until the sauce slightly thickens.
  5. Spoon the creamy garlic sauce generously over the broiled lobster tails.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh chives or parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges or over mashed potatoes.

Notes

Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Swap Parmesan with Gruyère or Asiago for a different flavor profile.

Use lime juice for a citrus twist.

Pair with steak for a surf and turf meal.

Reheat gently to maintain tenderness.
