Description
Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a luxurious, restaurant-quality dish that features broiled lobster meat draped in a rich, garlicky cream sauce. Perfect for special occasions or an elevated weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
4 lobster tails (4–6 oz each)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley
Paprika, for light seasoning
Instructions
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of each lobster shell. Gently lift the meat over the shell, keeping it attached at the base. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
- Preheat your oven’s broiler. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking tray. Broil for 5–6 minutes, or until the meat turns opaque and slightly golden.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Spoon the creamy garlic sauce generously over the broiled lobster tails.
- Sprinkle with fresh chives or parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges or over mashed potatoes.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Swap Parmesan with Gruyère or Asiago for a different flavor profile.
Use lime juice for a citrus twist.
Pair with steak for a surf and turf meal.
Reheat gently to maintain tenderness.
