Description
This Delicious Brownie Ice Cream Cake combines rich, fudgy brownies with creamy ice cream, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. It’s a perfect dessert for any occasion, offering layers of flavor and texture that will impress your guests.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 quart of your favorite ice cream (such as chocolate, vanilla, or any mix you prefer)
Whipped cream
Chocolate syrup
Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Stir in granulated sugar, mixing until combined. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined and the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cooling in the pan for at least 30 minutes.
- While the brownies are cooling, soften the ice cream slightly at room temperature for easier spreading.
- Once the brownies are cooled, remove from the pan and cut into even layers. Place one layer of brownies back into the baking dish. Spread a layer of softened ice cream on top, then cover with the second layer of brownies.
- Cover the assembled cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Once frozen, remove the cake from the freezer. Top it with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and any desired garnishes like sprinkles or nuts.
- Cut into squares and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
You can use different ice cream flavors like mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, or coffee for a fun twist.
Add-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or caramel swirls can be incorporated into the brownie batter for extra texture and flavor.
