Ingredients

For the Chicken Balls:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Garlic Butter Coating:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, spaghetti, or linguine)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup pasta water (reserved)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Balls

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Shape the Meatballs: Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Cook the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken balls and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Coating

  1. Melt Butter: In the same skillet, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Coat Meatballs: Return the cooked chicken balls to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and set aside.

Prepare the Creamy Parmesan Pasta

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously.
  3. Add Cheese & Seasoning: Stir in grated Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.

Assemble & Serve

  1. Plate the Dish: Serve the creamy Parmesan pasta in bowls. Top with garlic butter chicken balls.
  2. Garnish & Enjoy: Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Make It Spicier: Add extra red pepper flakes or a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.
  • Lighter Option: Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or whole milk.
  • Vegetable Additions: Stir in sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or cherry tomatoes for added freshness.
  • Gluten-Free Version: Use gluten-free pasta and breadcrumbs.
