Description

A creamy, mint-flavored protein shake made in the Ninja Creami, featuring yogurt, vanilla protein, maple syrup, and a hint of mint. Perfect for a festive, high-protein dessert or post-workout treat.

Ingredients

240 ml (1 cup) 2% milk, divided + more for blending

6 g gelatin

35 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup

113 g (½ cup) full-fat plain skyr or Greek yogurt

34 g (1 scoop) vanilla protein powder

¼ tsp mint extract (not peppermint)

Pinch of kosher salt

Green food coloring (optional)

Optional toppings: whipped cream, sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, gently warm half of the milk and whisk in the gelatin until fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the gelatin mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Add remaining milk, maple syrup, yogurt, protein powder, mint extract, salt, and food coloring (if using).
  3. Blend the mixture until completely smooth.
  4. Freeze in the Ninja Creami pint container for 24 hours.
  5. After freezing, process the pint using the “Lite Ice Cream” function on the Ninja Creami.
  6. If texture is crumbly, add a splash of milk and re-spin until smooth and creamy.
  7. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use dairy-free yogurt and plant-based milk to make it vegan.

Add fresh spinach for natural green color.

Add extra protein powder for more protein.

Try chocolate protein powder for a chocolate-mint flavor.

Do not add toppings before freezing.

Re-spin with milk after freezing for best texture.
