Description

This One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a creamy, comforting meal made in just 35 minutes! Juicy, pan-seared chicken breasts are paired with buttery, Parmesan-infused egg noodles, all cooked in a rich garlic cream sauce. A perfect quick and easy dinner for busy nights!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

1. Cook the Chicken:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F/74°C).
  4. Remove from skillet and set aside.

2. Cook the Noodles:

  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  2. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.

3. Combine & Finish:

  1. Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  2. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, letting it heat through.

4. Serve:

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add More Flavor: Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or lemon zest for a fresh twist.
  • Make It Lighter: Swap half-and-half for heavy cream or use low-fat milk with a cornstarch slurry.
  • Extra Creamy: Stir in an extra tablespoon of butter before serving.
