Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 12–16 Oreo cookies
Instructions
Prepare the Brownie Batter:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a thick batter forms.
2. Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:
- In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the Layers:
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Gently pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
- Drop dollops of the remaining brownie batter on top and use a knife to swirl the two layers together.
4. Add Oreos:
- Press Oreo cookies gently into the batter.
5. Bake:
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before slicing.
6. Serve:
