Description

Ranch Pinwheels are easy, crowd-pleasing appetizers made with soft tortillas or puff pastry and filled with a creamy ranch-flavored mixture. Rolled into bite-sized spirals, they’re perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick snack. These customizable pinwheels can be made ahead, making them both convenient and delicious for any occasion.


Ingredients

Large flour tortillas (or puff pastry sheets)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream or mayonnaise

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced red bell pepper

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Optional: chopped cooked chicken, black olives, or spinach


Instructions

  • For Tortilla Pinwheels (No-Bake):

    • Mix cream cheese, sour cream (or mayo), and ranch seasoning until smooth.

    • Stir in shredded cheddar, diced bell pepper, and green onions.

    • Spread the mixture evenly on tortillas, roll tightly, and chill for 1 hour.

    • Slice into pinwheels and serve.

  • For Baked Puff Pastry Pinwheels:

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

    • Spread ranch cream cheese mixture on puff pastry, sprinkle with any desired fillings, roll tightly, slice into pieces.

    • Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and crispy.
