Description

Ritz Churro Bites are a sweet, crispy, and buttery treat made by coating Ritz crackers in a cinnamon-sugar mixture and baking them to perfection. This quick and easy snack is perfect for any occasion and is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet cravings.


Ingredients

1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers), broken into halves or quarters

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, break the Ritz crackers into halves or quarters and toss them with melted butter until evenly coated.
  3. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered crackers and toss gently to coat.
  4. Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  5. Allow the churro bites to cool for a few minutes before serving, as they will crisp up more as they cool.

Notes

For a richer treat, drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled churro bites.

Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the cinnamon-sugar for a sweet and spicy version.
