Description

Savory Baked Brie with Garlic and Herbs is a delicious and elegant appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese, fresh garlic, rosemary, thyme, and a touch of honey. Baked until soft and gooey, this easy-to-make dish is perfect for dinner parties, holiday gatherings, or a cozy night in. Serve it with crusty bread, crackers, or fresh veggies for a comforting and crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

1 wheel of Brie cheese

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon honey

To serve: crusty bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Place the Brie wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in an oven-safe dish.

  • Drizzle with olive oil, then top with minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.

  • Season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add a light drizzle of honey.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is soft and slightly oozing.

  • Let the Brie rest for a couple of minutes before serving with bread, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with caramelized onions, red pepper flakes, or diced chili for a spicy kick.

Add sun-dried tomatoes and olives for a Mediterranean twist.

Leftover baked Brie can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently at 300°F.
