Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon


Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cream Butter and Sugars:

    • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with both granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add Eggs and Vanilla:

    • Beat in 1 egg one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix well.

  • Mix Dry Ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  • Form Cookies:

    • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.

  • Bake:
