Description

The Strawberry Mojito is a refreshing summer drink that combines sweet strawberries, fresh mint, and lime with a fizzy splash of soda water. Enjoy it as a mocktail or cocktail for a fruity and cooling treat.

Ingredients

6 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

10 fresh mint leaves

1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)

Juice of 1 lime

Ice cubes

½ cup soda water (or sparkling water)

Optional: 2 oz white rum (for alcoholic version)

Instructions

  1. In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries, mint leaves, and sugar together until the strawberries are crushed and their juices are released.
  2. Squeeze the juice of 1 lime into the mixture and stir well.
  3. Add ice cubes to the glass to chill the drink.
  4. Pour the soda water (or sparkling water) over the muddled mixture and stir gently to combine.
  5. Optional – Add rum: If making an alcoholic version, add 2 oz of white rum and mix.
  6. Garnish with extra mint leaves, a lime wedge, or a strawberry slice. Serve immediately and enjoy chilled!

Notes

For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with crushed ice for a slushy treat.

You can substitute sugar with honey or agave for a natural sweetener alternative.
