Description
The Strawberry Mojito is a refreshing summer drink that combines sweet strawberries, fresh mint, and lime with a fizzy splash of soda water. Enjoy it as a mocktail or cocktail for a fruity and cooling treat.
Ingredients
6 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
10 fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
Juice of 1 lime
Ice cubes
½ cup soda water (or sparkling water)
Optional: 2 oz white rum (for alcoholic version)
Instructions
- In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries, mint leaves, and sugar together until the strawberries are crushed and their juices are released.
- Squeeze the juice of 1 lime into the mixture and stir well.
- Add ice cubes to the glass to chill the drink.
- Pour the soda water (or sparkling water) over the muddled mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Optional – Add rum: If making an alcoholic version, add 2 oz of white rum and mix.
- Garnish with extra mint leaves, a lime wedge, or a strawberry slice. Serve immediately and enjoy chilled!
Notes
For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with crushed ice for a slushy treat.
You can substitute sugar with honey or agave for a natural sweetener alternative.
