Description
A refreshing and naturally flavored infused water made with fresh strawberries, cucumber, lime, and mint—perfect for hydration with a hint of fruity sweetness and herbal brightness.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh cucumber, sliced
- 2 limes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
- 8 cups still or sparkling water
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, layer strawberries, cucumber, lime, and mint leaves with plenty of ice cubes.
- Fill the pitcher with water (still or sparkling).
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes, or for a stronger flavor, chill for a few hours or overnight.
- Stir gently before serving and pour into glasses. Garnish with additional mint or lime slices if desired.
Notes
- Use organic produce when possible since the ingredients are not peeled.
- Adjust fruit-to-water ratio to taste for a more or less intense flavor.
- Bruise the mint slightly to release more flavor before adding to water.
- Frozen fruit can be used and also acts as an ice cube substitute.
